Bellini is named after the famous champagne cocktail. This is a new strain that was bred by crossing Purple Punch with Gelato 45. With topping and training this can become a bushy plant and these techniques will help to increase potential yields. Cuttings/clones from this strain are easy to root.
Bellini takes 63 – 67 days to finish flowering with yields likely to be between 250 – 280 gr/m2 unless the aforementioned extra techniques are employed. The scent and taste underlines where it gets its name as it is distinctly peach-y with some citrus acidity with sweet, silky notes. The pungency is long-lasting on the palate, a quality that easily transfers when making extracts from this strain.
