Caramel CBD is a new medicinal strain from Barney’s Farm seeds. It is a three-way hybrid that is 70% indica in genetic compostion. A Brazilian, Himalaya and an Afghan strain were crossed and then CBD-enriched to reduce the psycho-activity to a negligible level to provide medicinal relief without any stoned effect. THC:CBD ratio is 1:1.
This plant has dynamic hybrid vigour meaning that a very short period of vegetative growth is needed before switching to a flowering lighting regime. Plants remain quite small at 80 – 100 cm. and despit its indica-dominance in terms of genetics the flowering clusters are very similar to those of a sativa with a more open structure but one which is nevertheless packed with resin. Mould resistance is high making it a great choice for areas with high humidity. Yields indoors average about 450 – 500 gr/m2 although higher yields up to 800 gr/m2 are possible within the 50 – 60 day flowering period. Outdoors each plant can produce around 450 gr. for harvest in the second half of September.
The buds of Caramle CBD are sweet and very sticky. The effect is very mellow, somewhat cerebral and soothing to those in need of a non-psychoactive cannabis strain for their symptoms.
